New Beginnings - Seeing 2020 👀

Just by happenstance, I started operating online May 1st, 2018, and it just so happened I opened Never Ever Board's first retail store on May 1st, 2019 after just a few weeks of hard work. 🔨 🎨 

 

It was difficult outfitting a store for the first time and understanding what needs to be done to actually make it look like a store, but slowly but surely it all came together, as it has each day blossoming and evolving to the ultimate version that aligns with our brand. 🏬 🏄 🌊 

 

Both captivating the imagination of those who frequent our store and opening the eyes of new visitors to new possibilities. 👀 

 

A new year, a great time to reflect, we've been in business now for 20 months, a little over a year and a half, still a baby so still counting by months lol. 👶 ❤️ 

Here are a few highlights from the year thinking back... 

Earlier just before opening as we were picking up some things for the shop from someone through facebook marketplace on Oak Island, we ran into a real-life American Ninja Warrior! 😎 

Learned a heck of a whole lot about business and establishing a presence. 📚 

We set up shop at various events, the former check6 brewery, the Oak Island Labor Day Surf-Off which we helped sponsor and had a number of FREE events at the skate park with FREE food, entry and lots of fun! Hosted our first tournament at the skate park and gave away some cool prizes! 🍔 🌭 

We had different events at the store giving away FREE food, and hosting a spot for some really yummy food trucks!! 😋 

And of course Dawg Wagon!

We Celebrated a few holidays! 🎅 🎃 👻 

 

We held events that we collaborated with our town on and set up a table at the spooktacular event that the town hosts every year at our local rec center! 🧟‍♂️ 

We had a strong thriving rental season for our flagship model, the beast from Aqua Marina! 🏄 

Recently we helped push to have the skate park open to the public for free and by a unanimous decision from our town council we made this possible! The kids are loving it and the park is averaging about 20 to 25 kids per day, adding one more cool thing to do on Oak Island. 🛹 

Brought in a couple of really cool winning products, Mexican blankets and reusable straws which were a huge success! 🐳 🐢🐬 

You've also loved shopping for our Green Roads CBD products, and keep coming back since they work so great!! 😊 

Made a few skaters very happy! 😁

We were even blessed by some of our customers with some of the coolest donations!! 🤘🤙

For years I have wanted a signed Tony Hawk Deck and I finally got lucky enough to get my hands on one. 🍀 

Stay tuned and keep popping in, we are on the verge of bringing in some exciting new products, and some really cool brands. 💯
